NOTE: The only restrictions on participating as a Delegate to the Continental Congress 2009 is that the person be a U.S. Citizen, and not currently be serving as an elected state or federal official. It will be up to the people of each state to develop, support and elect the best and brightest minds possible to represent them in November.
\nProcedure to Nominate a CC 2009 Delegate <\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Click on:\u00a0 https:\/\/givemeliberty.org\/Delegates2009\/nominee_modify.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 You will be asked to log in to our secure server.\u00a0 If you need your password, enter
\nyour email and click the link indicated. If you have never subscribed to the We The People
\nuser subscription, enter your email and join, activating your free user account via the link
\nsent to your email.
\n<\/p>\n

Note: Remember that Yahoo! blocks most WTP emails (including password
\nemails), and that all password emails may sometimes be temporarily delayed
\ndepending on the current email processing load on our WTP server.\u00a0 This occurs
\nmost frequently when we are processing our bulk email lists.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0 Qualifications to register a nomination:\u00a0 Any person may nominate ONE
\nindividual; either himself\/herself, or another person. Any State Coordinator may nominate
\nanyone with their approval.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 If already logged in, click on the link “Add Nomination”. If your first time User go back<\/p>\n

to https:\/\/givemeliberty.org\/Delegates2009\/dashboard.aspx<\/a> and refresh. Then click on
\n“Add Nomination”<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0 Enter the nominee\u2019s contact information. Note that although these fields are pre-
\npopulated based on the existing Profile data associated with the log-in email ID, the
\nexisting Profile data will NOT be changed as part of creating the nomination entry. If you
\nare nominating another person, you will likely need to update most of these fields.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0 Education:\u00a0 Enter your formal educational background.\u00a0 Please use simple text
\nwithout html code or text enhancements (i.e., bold, italics, etc.). Example below:<\/p>\n

11.\u00a0 Profile Photo:\u00a0 Browse your computer to select a moderately sized .jpg, or .gif file
\nthat will appear with your nomination profile on the WTP Congress state web pages.
\nNote this graphic is ideally a cropped \u201chead and shoulders\u201d photo.\u00a0 The photo file itself
\nmust physically be on your computer before you can upload it.\u00a0 You cannot \u201cupload\u201d a
\nphoto from a third-party web source.<\/p>\n

If you need to save an existing photo from the web to your personal
\ncomputer, please right-click your mouse on the photo and \u201cSave
\nPicture As…\u201d If you need, please contact someone who can crop\/edit
\nthe photo. Graphic files cannot exceed 100 KB in size and will be
\ndisplayed on the WTP Congress web page at a size of approximately

Note:\u00a0 If the system reports an error during the submit\/review process, technical
\nlimitations require that you MUST re-select your photo file again before resubmitting your
\nnomination.<\/p>\n

12.\u00a0 Submit & Preview:\u00a0 If you encounter NO errors, your nomination is no stored and complete.<\/p>\n

13.\u00a0 Modification and\/or Deletion \u2013 Nominators can modify –OR– withdraw their nomination
\nat any time.\u00a0 If not available at the time of nomination submittal, photos can be submitted later by
\nlogging back in at the link above, and selecting the \u201cmodify nomination\u201d option.<\/p>\n

14. Find your State Coordinator by navigating to your State here:
\nhttp:\/\/www.cc2009.us\/get-started\/find-state<\/a> and email your State Coordinator to notify her\/him
\nthat you have submitted a Nomination. The State Coordinator will confer with his Nominating
\nCommittee, review your submission, seek any clarifications and determine your eligibility to
\ndisplay your Nomination Profile on the state pages.<\/p>\n

15. CC2009 is working on an area where each Nominee can upload a link to their own video or
\naudio address to the citizens in your state at your Profile.<\/p>\n
