{"id":68,"date":"2017-03-20T00:47:17","date_gmt":"2017-03-20T00:47:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cc2009.givemeliberty.org\/?p=68"},"modified":"2017-03-20T00:47:17","modified_gmt":"2017-03-20T00:47:17","slug":"mail-in-ballot-option","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cc2009.givemeliberty.org\/?p=68","title":{"rendered":"Mail In Ballot Option"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: large;\"><strong>2009 Continental Congress Delegate Election<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: large;\"><strong>Downloadable Affidavit\/Mail-in Option<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: large;\">In states where insufficient volunteers are available to plan and execute Voting Centers for in-person, hand-counted paper ballot voting on CC2009 Election Day, October 10<sup>th<\/sup>, the following protocol is suggested for downloadable registration forms and ballots, to be mailed in to one central Voting Center:\u00a0 <em> (Protocol suggested by Mark Cioffi, SC, Florida \u2013 THANK YOU MARK! \u2013 with a couple of minor modifications:)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: large;\">State Coordinator will provide a Registration Form with a notary component, a ballot, and a complete set of directions to voters including where to mail their registration form and ballot; these documents will be uploaded onto their state\u2019s page by National. (National needs to set a deadline for receiving these forms in time for uploading.)<br \/>\n<\/span> <!--more--><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: large;\">The Registration Form will need to be notarized before the voter mails it in with their ballot.\u00a0 The voter will enclose the Registration Form in one envelope, seal it, and mark it \u201cRegistration Form\u201d on the outside of the envelope.\u00a0 They will vote their ballot, selecting no more than three candidates, and enclose and seal it in another envelope, and mark it \u201cBallot\u201d on the outside of that envelope.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: large;\">Then the voter will put both envelopes into one larger envelope and mail in to a P.O. Box secured by the State Coordinator in the city, town, or area where they live and have arranged for one central Counting Center for counting the ballots on Election Day.\u00a0 The Counting Center should be located in a public place conforming with the venue specifications for Voting Centers in the Election Handbook.\u00a0 All ballots must be at the P.O. Box by midnight, October 9<sup>th<\/sup> in order to be counted on Election Day. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: large;\">On the morning of October 10<sup>th<\/sup>, the State Coordinator, together with members of the Counting Team, will retrieve all forms and ballots from the P.O.
