WELCOME TO NEW STATE COORDINATORS – At this important time in the process, we have some very strong individuals stepping up to assume state coordinator positions.  We are very grateful for their determination, their passion for Liberty and their efforts to do whatever it takes to bring CC2009 to America.

DON’T MISS BOB ON THE AIR OR ON THE ROAD:  

THANK YOU to all those who tuned in to hear Bob Schulz and Dr. Edwin Vieira on “Committees of Safety” last Wednesday night.  Bob had a cough that would not cease, making his participation impossible.  However, the two “Saving Fathers” did get together the next evening for an inspirational round on Patriot Heart Network – Liberty talk show, hosted by WTP member Terry Dodd.  This is an interview well worth hearing!  Judith Whitmore and Todd McGreevy also participated in the two hour + session.  You can hear the interview here.  

AUGUST 31^st – “The Aroostook Watchmen,” Steve Martin and Jack McCarthy interview Bob Schulz on Monday morning at 7:50 am EST, on WXME-AM (780) from Monticello, Maine. 

SEPTEMBER 1^ST – “Constitution Radio Network,” Dr. Kate (“Texas Darlin”) interviews Bob Schulz on Tuesday evening at 9pm EST.

SEPTEMBER 1 – 10 “They say” timing is everything!  Isn’t it interesting that Bob Schulz is heading CC2009 and also in the midst of the Discovery phase for the all-important NCEL case simultaneously?  Not fun. Most of Bob’s time thru September 10 must be devoted to the NCEL case, which is in the Discovery phase, but the CC2009 team is ready to move forward.   During this time, he will also address the media regarding what he refers to as America’s great CONSTITUTIONAL DIVIDE and the media’s recent coverage of  the open-carry WTP members William Kostric and Chris Boughton.  

SEPTEMBER 12 – Bob Schulz speaks at Northern New England CC2009 Meeting:  1-5pm – Hampton Inn, Bangor, Maine.   

SEPTEMBER 17 – 19 – Campaign for Liberty – Northeast Regional Meeting – Valley Forge, PA; CC2009 will have an exhibit table and an ad in the program.  

SEPTEMBER 24-26 (tentative): Welcoming and fundraising events in St. Charles and Evanston, Illinois. 

OCTOBER 17 – Bob Schulz will receive the Freedom Fighter Award at the Liberty Forum in Connecticut; Mr. Schulz will address the attendees at 9 a.m. and receive the award at 8:30 a.m.; Details: http://nheld.com/CTLibertyForum.htm

OCTOBER 18 – Bob Schulz and Judith Whitmore will present The Freedom Scroll Ceremony including a speech by Bob.  Northwest Ohio Liberty Conference – University of Findley.

       Each SC will be getting notification of the specific American Legion Commander for individual follow up.
    6. Voting Center Request Form Posted on the Election Handbook Page.  

• ACTIONS:

• Obtain written permission from the owner of the facility where you vote in general elections, to use that facility on October 10^th for the election of delegates to CC 2009, using letter on resource page.

• Assemble Election Teams for each voting center using Volunteer Pledge Form and Volunteer Contact Information Form available on resource page at www.cc2009.us

1. 1. 1. Letter to Editor – have you sent yours? Send this letter to the editor of your local newspaper;

      2. Place those PSA’s – video and audio; Call your local T.V. station or top radio stations. Ask to speak to the Director of Public Service Announcements (PSA’s). Introduce yourself and say you will be sending an email with a link to a series of 8 thirty-second PSA’s for consideration by the Station. Obtain the person’s contact information.
         NEW: Request Form for PSA Video Format Not Available on the site. (e.g. BetaSP, DVD)

      3. Circulate Freedom 21 speech PDF format or Web Page
